Padre Tóxico has been a fan of hip-hop since it’s inception and grew up in Poland during the golden era of music and timeless albums dropping left and right from GOATS like 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, The Roots, A Tribe Called Quest or Nas.
He had that same wave of excitement strike him when he discovered electronic music from musicians as Jon Hopkins, Kiasmos, Synkro, Stimming or Four Tet. These are the reasons why his beats oscilate between hip-hop (lo-fi, boom bap, jazzhop, chillhop, rnb) and electronica, with chill vibe being a common denominator.
Since making his creations public in the spring of 2020, his music was featured on Stereofox, Visual Atelier 8, New Golden Era Hip Hop, Aipate, Ital Massive, Earmilk, Indie Shuffle, Yack Magazine, Sensei Blog, Acid Ted, The Word Is Bond, Nagamag, Last Day Deaf, Folded Waffle, Roadie Music. He has been played also during “Sway In The Morning” on Eminem’s “Shade 45” radio. His track “Premium” with Awon landed on Spotify editorial playlists Jazz Rap, Beats & Rhymes and Mellow Beats.
Along the way he has had the opportunity to collaborate with esteemed artists like Awon, Anti Lilly, Scienze, Rockie Fresh, Classik, Mike Mitch, Chima Anya, Pri, Tiff the Gift, Elion Melody, Petey, Mr. Oddzo and Eric Matthys just to name a few.
